  92           <p>A taxi from SeaTac airport to <strong>Extraordinary Least
  93           Squares</strong> should cost about $50 and take about 30
  94           minutes — but might take <em>much</em> more with
  95           traffic. Mass transit requires one transfer, costs $2.75,
  96           and take about an hour.</p>

  98           <h3>Mass Transit Directions</h3>

 100           <p>At SeaTac airport, follow signs to ground transportation
 101           and to
 102           the <a href="http://www.soundtransit.org/rider-guide/link-light-rail">LINK
 103           light rail</a> which is located at the far left of the main
 104           terminal on the check-in level. At the light rail station,
 105           you can buy tickets
 106           and <a href="http://www.orcacard.com">ORCA cards</a> which
 107           are reusable on all Seattle-area mass transit. You can also
 108           buy a single-use paper ticket. If you buy an ORCA card, you
 109           will need to tap it on a yellow terminal both before you
 110           enter, and after you exit the train. The tapping areas are
 111           easy to find.</p>

 113           <p>Take the LINK train until the <strong>University
 114           Street</strong> station which take 36 minutes and stop at 11
 115           stops. At University Street, you will need to change to a bus to
 116           Fremont.</p>

 118           <p>The LINK station is underground and the buses to Fremont
 119           travel on the street above. In the station, follow signs for
 120           an exit onto 3<sup>rd</sup> Avenue. On 3<sup>rd</sup>
 121           Avenue, walk north to <strong>3<sup>rd</sup> Avenue and
 122           Union Street</strong> and look for a bus stop with the
 123           following buses numbers written on it: <strong>40, 26,
 124           28</strong>. These buses all come down 3<sup>rd</sup> Avenue
 125           frequently and should arrive within 10-15 minutes at almost
 126           any time except between midnight and 5:00am. You can install
 127           the free software phone application or view the website
 128           for <a href="http://pugetsound.onebusaway.org/">OneBusAway</a>
 129           for real-time data on bus arrivals.</p>

 131           <p>Take any <strong>40, 26, or 28</strong> bus <strong>North
 132           to Fremont</strong>. Tapping your ORCA card at bus entrance
 133           will register a "transfer" from the LINK and you will not be
 134           charged for the bus. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes to
 135           the stop at <strong>FREMONT AVE and N 34TH ST</strong> which
 136           will be displayed on a digital display on the ceiling at the
 137           front of the bus.</p>

 139           <p>Take a right after immediately exiting the bus and take a
 140           left when you come to the intersection (Fremont Ave &amp;
 141           34<sup>th</sup>). Walk down 34<sup>th</sup> (you should pass
 142           <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waiting_for_the_Interurban">this
 143           sculture of people waiting, usually dressed up</a>, on the
 144           other side of the street) as you walk toward, and then under, the
 145           enormous "Aurora" bridge and across Troll
 146           Avenue. <strong>Extraordinary Least Squares</strong> is in a
 147           building called <strong>St. James Tower</strong> on the
 148           left. Call one of the proprietors when you have arrived
 149           outside.</p>

 151           <p>The west way to get to our apartment is through the
 152           apartment's back door which means you will take a left on
 153           Troll Ave (up the hill) and then a right down the first
 154           alley you come to. You can follow the directions under
 155           "Visit Us" above.</p>
